iOS 16- Coming Fall 2022

WWDC 2022 just finished and all new software was just released. In this post we will dive in deeper to iOS 16.

Lets start with an overview:

Wow, that's a lot so let's break it down.

iOS 16 brings all-new lock screens to iPhone with new ways to customize and the ability to add widgets to the lockscreen like apple watch. it looks so fresh and helpful. This also means new notifications methods that look modern. And a new Live Activity notification for sport updates to that uber ride. No more notifications every 5 seconds.

Also with iOS 16, We can now edit, Unsend, and Unread messages sent though iMessage, three long wanted features.

Match a lockscreen with a focus mode so like w work lockscreen when in work focus mode.

New ways to share pictures with family. The ability to automatically share pictures with family members right as they are taken and share pictures with family members in them automatically making ti easier for everyone to have all the pictures faster and easier.

Up to 15 stops in Apple Maps with Multistop routing.

Redesigned home app for easier home control.

In select Cars Apple Car play will b able to take over cars UX and displays and display information in apple fashion:

Apple Pay later lets you pay for things over weeks instead of all at once.

And easily take out subject out of photo and past anywhere you want. Magically the background is now gone:
